The Protein Assignment

The protein that I chose to research was Rubisco, Rubisco creates organic compounds from inorganic carbon dioxide. It is used in plants during photosynthesis to create the useable carbon from the carbon dioxide the plant absorbs. This protein is also why oxygen is released during photosynthesis, because of it takes oxygen out of the carbon dioxide and releases them, keeping the needed carbon for the photosynthesis process. I think this protein is cool because it is one of the only reasons we are still alive.

My Dream Science Lab

The perfect science class would be one with brand new technology. Although rules need to be strict so the equipment does not get broken, the teachers should also be laid back. We'd use technology like ipads, electron microscopes, and xrays. The teachers would teach us how to use the equipment extensively, and let us run free with it. The classes would be structured but relaxed.
